Using Testimonials To Promote Your Services

Struggling to get clients for your service?  Why not show prospects that your existing clients love dealing with you!  Do this by using testimonials on your website...

There are plenty of ways to use testimonials to help promote your services. Here are a few…

Include a colored box on your web site for each testimonial so that it stands out from the rest of your website.

Include the writer’s (buyer’s) name and their domain name (be careful about hyper linking, you don’t want potential clients to click away from your site) with specific comments directed towards your service.

If you don’t have anything detailed, contact some of your best clients and simply ask if they would be willing to provide a testimonial, based on their experiences.  To give the testimonials more value, more credibility, try to add the writer’s photo and even an audio clip or video testimonial if they’re willing.  People often like to see their name ‘up in lights’ so to speak.

Why not put together a bunch of testimonials into a report or guide in PDF format available as a free download.  You don’t have to call it ‘my testimonial report’ of course, give it a more appealing name and add some useful content and you’ll have a winner.

Try having FAQ pages on your website and have a link to your testimonials for quick reference. The testimonial may well answer the question your prospect had.

Turn your testimonials into case studies. Create press releases and articles for promotional purposes. Use enticing headlines based on the main point of each testimonial like Superfast Service, Awesome Attention to Details, etc. Be sure to include quotes or excerpts and a link to your site for more information.

Submit these articles to online article directories and the press releases to online press release sites such as PRWeb.com.

If offline publications and the media are likely to have an interest in your information, then submit your items and follow up with editors and publishers.

Use parts of your testimonials in your offline marketing methods, including brochures, newsletters and post cards. Use them online in blog posts and liberally throughout your website.
